The facility will include an Olympic-size indoor pool located within a 35,980 square foot building, located at 650 Wallenberg Drive.

Other amenities will include seating for 780 spectators, scoreboards, WiFi, and a movable race starting platform that will allow for the 50 meter pool to be converted into a 25 meter pool for youth competitions.

The community meeting will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. at the Galatzan Recreational Center, also located at 650 Wallenberg Drive in West El Paso. Officials will discuss the construction schedule as well as plans for continued use of the existing public pool at the site.
