$15M North Loop Apartments Break Ground

The developer of a brand new apartment complex in El Paso's Lower Valley broke ground last week on the $15 million project that will provide more housing options to residents in the area.

This marks the start of construction on the North Loop Apartments which will bring 214 units to a vacant lot near the intersection of North Loop Drive and Loop 375/Americas Avenue.

Six apartments structures will be three stories each and surround a park area that includes a playground and picnic shelters. A clubhouse will be nearby and will include a party room, a business center, and a fitness center.

The new complex will be located at 9522 North Loop Drive, near Del Valle High school and with easy access to the Loop 375 freeway.

Construction on the project should take about a year with a projected opening date of September 2017. Exigo of El Paso is the architect and general contractor on the project, with ZTEX Construction of El Paso serving as site work contractor.
