Five Points Terminal Reopens in Central El Paso

The Sun Metro Transit Terminal in the Five Points neighborhood in Central El Paso has reopened after a year-long renovation.

The terminal received exterior and interior updates, including facade upgrades, new restroom fixtures, WiFi, monitors, new benches, electronic arrivals signs, and ticket vending machines.

The $1.25 million project also got the terminal ready for the 60-foot articulated buses that will be used in the Brio Rapid Transit System routes that will stop in Five Points.

The City of El Paso will hold a Grand Re-Opening of the Robert E. McKee Five Points Transit Terminal on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Service returned to the terminal on September 14.
