The first phase of the project includes 18 wayfinding kiosks and 28 directional signs attached to existing street light fixtures, according to downtownelpaso.com.
The kiosks are generally four-sided and will come in two sizes, a medium nine-foot tall kiosk, and a larger 12-foot high kiosk that includes overhead lighting powered by solar panels.
The Downtown Management District is managing the project for the City of El Paso.
