Alamo Drafthouse Now Hiring 200 Employees for West El Paso Location

The latest addition to the Montecillo smart growth development in West El Paso is now hiring in anticipation of its opening. Alamo Drafthouse cinema seeks 200 employees for its upcoming location.

The new movie house will be an anchor tenant in the Montecillo Town Center, located at Mesa Street and Montecillo Boulevard. No other tenants have been announced for the center, which is part of the larger Montecillo development.

The Town Center will be located on a sloping valley on the east side of Mesa Street, across from which are located the Venue at Montecillo apartment buildings and the TI:ME at Montecillo retail and restaurant center.

The Alamo Drafthouse location under construction in West El Paso will be located in the rear area of the Montecillo Town Center. The theater is expected to open later this year. (Site Plan: www.montecillo.com)

Positions available at the Alamo Drafthouse include servers, kitchen staff, bartenders, box office concierges, and projectionists. That's according to a press release.

Alamo Drafthouse is noted for providing food and drink service to patrons watching movies at its theaters, and has a strict no talking policy. It operates 23 theaters across the country.

No opening date has been announced for the theater, currently under construction.
