Artspace El Paso Lofts to Open November 2016

Construction is ongoing at the Artspace Lofts site in Downtown El Paso, and residents will be able to move in as soon as November.

According to the official website, Artspace will begin taking resident applications on September 1, 2016 from those interested in living in one of the lofts. Officials hope to have the apartments ready for occupancy by mid- to late-November.

The four-story structure will include 51 loft units, 5,000 square feet of multi-purpose nonprofit commercial space, and a large space available for meetings or exhibitions. The property will also include 31 parking spaces.

Artspace is a non-profit organization that helps develop affordable housing for artists and their families. Like other developments around the country, the El Paso lofts will be comprised of live/work studio units for artists.

The Artspace El Paso Lofts are located at the corner of Oregon Street and Missouri Avenue at the site of the former El Paso Saddleblanket store which sat vacant for years. A Doubletree Hotel occupies the western half of the block.
