Twin Peaks Restaurant Headed to West El Paso

Popular Chain to Be Constructed Next to Former Tilted Kilt Property

Twin Peaks Restaurant will soon construct a West El Paso restaurant, and it’ll be located on the same general property that was supposed to house the city’s first Tilted Kilt location. That’s according to recent construction permits that were pulled for the site.
The West El Paso Twin Peaks Restaurant will be located on Sunland Park Drive, just west of Interstate 10.  It will be the second location in the city.

The proposed location is at 953 Sunland Park Drive, about 800 feet west of Interstate 10. The new Twin Peaks will be flanked by multiple hotels in the immediate area that combine for over 400 rooms.

Tilted Kilt, a competitor for Twin Peaks in general restaurant theme, announced earlier this year that it would construct a new restaurant at 955 Sunland Park Drive. Both restaurants feature servers that are dressed in cheeky attire.

Last week, the Tilted Kilt franchisee for the area announced that construction of its West Side location will be postponed and that the first restaurant will instead be built in East El Paso. That location will be at 1501 North Zaragoza Road at the intersection of Pellicano Drive.

Twin Peaks has not made a formal announcement for its Sunland Park Drive location, and there is no available timeline for construction. Grading and construction permits were requested last month.

Twin Peaks opened its first El Paso location last year at the brand new Fountains at Farah on the East Side, one of the first tenants to do so at the center. The chain is headquartered in Dallas.

According to commercial real estate website LoopNet (www.loopnet.com), a Daddy O’s Car Wash location is slated for the property immediately west of the future Twin Peaks location. Daddy O’s has two locations in Las Cruces.
